I was born in Aberdeen, Scotland where I trained and qualified as a carpenter and joiner over 30 years ago with a small joinery business. I set-up my own business which is still running after 17 years trading (SA Singer Joinery Ltd). Currently, that is being run by a member of staff. The business has been successful by the work generated by word of mouth, quality of the work and reputation. Most of the business comes from repeat customers returning due to the high rate of customer satisfaction.

I moved to Australia due to my wifes work and originally settled in Brisbane. I decided to provide the same customer focused service offered by my UK business in Brisbane and established my own company, offering the same high quality services that I had done so successfully in the UK. My wifes work now takes us to Adelaide and with that SA Singer Services now offers joinery and carpentry to the Adelaide area.
